Health and safety affects every area of our business and in order to ensure that our employees, contractors and the general public are safe at all times, we have a comprehensive and stringent health and safety policy.We also ensure that adequate resources, both financial and otherwise, are assigned to ensure that there is proper provision for health and safety at work.
Training
Every member of the team is fully trained and properly inducted - and provided with information, instruction and supervision as necessary.
The environment
We create work environments that are safe and without risks to health. All plant and work equipment is provided and maintained in a safe condition.
Risk assessments
Risk assessments are carried out and periodically reviewed. Our health and safety policy and procedures are also reviewed annually in order to reflect changes in legislation.
By November 2010, our health and safety management system will be accredited to BS OHSAS 18001:2007.
